Couldn't pass this one up, as it's my sister's name. I think it's lovely. The main thing to be aware of if you name your daughter "Andrea" is that she will have a lifelong struggle with people who want to pronounce her name the wrong way. If you name her "AN-dree-uh," people will call her "Aun-DRAY-uh," and vice-versa. Still, it's a small price to pay. It's an elegant-looking written name, and lends itself well to just about any middle name that begins with a consonant.
